TIP is the main character of “Tip of the day” project.

I developed the texturing in Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter.

I split the character in many different surfaces: Body, Upper Arms, Lower Arms, Legs, Wings, Eyes, Horns, …, in order to manage better UV maps and optimize the painting process of the different map sets.

I utilized Newtek Lightwave to create UV maps, to shade the characters and to illuminate them.
I managed a set of procedural textures in order to create the bluish iridescence on the back of the dragon and to add a little roughness on the skin.
