In my opinion, the house of a great genius like Alchemius has to be a very messy place, crowded with books, parchment scrolls, flasks and every kind of odd instruments.
I think this bookcase (1) is a pretty good representation of the entire environment mood.
Due to the large amount of props needed for this set, I decided to create a library of basic objects and textures to start from: different kinds of wood planks (2,3), metals, book covers (4), stone, bricks, …
